It's gecko season in India! Come summer, and these creepy reptiles start sneaking out of just about every corner of the house. But is the gecko really that creepy? The next time you scram on seeing one, be sure to say "thank you" for the free pest control services that the geckos offer!
House Geckos are known by many different names across India, but the one that I have grown up with, is its Bengali name, "tiktiki", which commemorates its "chuck-chuck-chuck" call.
