Bonobos are our closest relatives in evolution (along with chimpanzees). One of the most promiscuous animals on the planet, bonobos use sexual activity for every purpose- from greeting friends to resolving conflicts with rivals. Bonobo sexual interactions are rarely discriminative of age or gender. No wonder they're the among the most peaceful creatures on the planet!
