Bee Conservation in India

Bee conservation isn't just about saving bees, but also saving the right kind of bees. Beekeeping and apiculture need to focus on indigenous bees in order to be sustainable. Two such initiatives in India that I know of, are Under the Mango Tree (https://www.utmt.in/), and Tenacious Bee Collective (https://www.tenaciousbee.com/). If you are aware of more ethical and sustainable bee collectives, do let me know in the comments.

Comic from my column with The Hindu Weekend.
